Terms of Service
Last updated 04 Sept 2026
This is a working draft, not legal advice. Have it reviewed by a lawyer before you take payments from customers.
These terms govern your use of Bilty Freight Desk. By creating a workspace you agree to them.
1.The service
Bilty Freight Desk is subscription software for transport brokerages. We give you a workspace to record loads, parties, trucks, drivers, invoices and payments. We are not a party to the transport contracts you record in it.
2.Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, for keeping your credentials safe, and for the actions of the users you invite. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
3.Your data is yours
You keep all rights to the records you enter. We hold them to run the service for you and claim no ownership over them.
4.Fees and billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance for the period you choose. Fees are exclusive of GST, which is added at the applicable rate. Non-payment may lead to suspension after we have given you notice.
5.Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, to store someone else's data without their permission, or to attack, overload or reverse engineer the platform. We may suspend an account that does.
6.Availability
We work to keep the service available and take regular backups, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation. Maintenance and outages happen, and we will keep them as short as we can.
7.Compliance is yours
The service helps you produce GST-compliant documents, but responsibility for the correctness of your filings, tax positions and statutory records remains with you and your accountant.
8.Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses.
9.Ending the agreement
You may cancel at any time and your access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. We may end the agreement for a serious or repeated breach of these terms.
10.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of the city stated in your invoice have jurisdiction over any dispute.
